Request a Husky to Husky Program

These activities can be used for tabling events, workshops, or other interactive events in the community. They can either be facilitated by a peer educator upon request, or they come with instructions to facilitate on your own.
Bartender Challenge
Can you pour an accurate standard drink? The Bartender Challenge gives students a hands on experience with standard drink education and an opportunity to learn about about standard drink measurements, why standard drinks matter, and alcohol risk reduction strategies.
Alcohol Trivia
Test your knowledge on alcohol education and risk reduction! This interactive trivia game allows students to learn more about the science behind alcohol and encourages students to consider ways to reduce their risk if they are making the choice to drink.
Sexual Health Trivia
This interactive trivia game tests participants on their knowledge of correct barrier method use, STIs and testing, consent, and sexual health resources (like Frisky Husky).
Request a Husky to Husky Presentation
Husky to Husky peer educators can facilitate presentations in student groups, on residence floors, or in collaboration with other programs and events. These presentations are typically 45 minutes to an hour long.
Wellness Workshop
This 45-minute workshop will dive into the eight dimensions of wellness, and includes interactive activities for participants to evaluate their own wellbeing and set tangible goals to enhance their overall wellness. The Husky to Husky Peer Educators will also share a variety of health and wellness resources available at Northeastern to support students.
Red Watch Band
The Red Watch Band is a program that was created at Stony Brook University and was brought to Northeastern University. The mission of the Red Watch Band is to provide Northeastern University community members with the knowledge, awareness, and skills to prevent student toxic drinking deaths and to promote a student culture of kindness, responsibility, compassion, and respect. The Red Watch Band program is a student-led initiative that encourages students to identify dangerous levels of intoxication, and to call for help if their friends have had too much to drink. This event occurs one to two times per semester, in partnership with NU EMS and Husky to Husky Peer Educators. Email open@northeastern.edu to find out dates and times of upcoming RWB events.
