Supporting Student Mental Health Guides

We know mental health issues can interfere with the quality of life for college students and certainly with academic performance. Resources and support are available. Supporting Student Mental Health guides were created by the Office of Prevention and Education at Northeastern, the Senior Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, and University Health and Counseling Services in collaboration with Northeastern Active Minds.

Supporting Student Mental Health Trainings

The Supporting Student Mental Health workshop provides faculty and staff with an opportunity to discuss how mental health is impacting students. Faculty and staff will leave the session with concrete skills on: recognizing students in distress, responding to students using motivational interviewing techniques and referring students to appropriate Northeastern resources. For questions about upcoming trainings email open@northeastern.edu.
